John Calderon

With over three decades of experience in the construction industry, John Calderon brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to Home Constructors. He spent 26 of those years in Aspen, Colorado, and the Roaring Fork Valley, where he successfully owned and operated his own construction company. A visionary leader, John holds dual Master’s Degrees, including one in Business Management from the University of California, Irvine (UCI).

John’s commitment to the construction industry extends beyond business; he is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of trades professionals. In 2015, he founded a nonprofit organization focused on educating youth in construction trades, reflecting his passion for mentorship and community development.

Outside of his professional life, John is an accomplished artist and equestrian, with interests that include sculpting clay, wood carving, and training cutting horses. His blend of craftsmanship and dedication to the trades continues to shape the vision of Home Constructors.

Amanda Calderon

Amanda Calderon’s journey into the construction world began at a young age. In 1999, at just 10 years old, she watched her father design and build a custom home on newly acquired property in Black Hawk, Colorado. This early exposure to construction and design, along with hands-on experience renovating and flipping homes on Colorado’s Front Range, ignited her passion for architectural layout and design.

Since 2018, Amanda has been a key contributor, working alongside her husband, John, in project management, building and renovation services, and architectural design. Her commitment to both construction and innovation continues as she pursues a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Innovation Management at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Her studies include advanced coursework in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, equipping her with cutting-edge knowledge to drive forward-thinking strategies at Home Constructors.
